CHain of COmmand 

Chain of Command is best described as a way to mitigate confusion and disruption in workflow throughout day - to day operations. Ngozi Place is a client driven business. Everything we do in the Ngozi work environment is to ensure our clients are well kept, comfortable, and taken care of. Each staff member on the Ngozi Place team places an vital role in ensuring we provide the best services for our clients.

Ngozi Place has established this chain of command and protocols for the staff to follow for situations. Breaking this chain creates disruption of work flow and other functions within our program, diminishing the quality of our services.

The chain is as follows;

Sonya Golden, Director | Client Advocate & Finances

Aric Golden | Human Resources / Payroll

Ashlee mckinney | Program Manager

Sheena Dixon | Home Manager

Direct care & ISS center staff - Day to day operations inside of group homes and ISS.

In medical emergency situations, you are to call the on - call number for nurses posted within the residences. The goal is between the Nurse & Home managers we are able to make an adequate decision about proceeding treatment. They will then in turn relay any information needed to the Program Director.

 Direct care staff, home manager, human resources, payroll administration, case manager, Nursing (RN/LVN), and etc.

These are just a sample of the roles that work together to ensure the best services for our clients. Every role is just as important as the next! Below will describe some of the job positions, and functions within Ngozi Place.

Direct Care Staff - Are responsible for the day to day care of the client during their shift. Direct care staff provides assistance to maintain, and improve where possible the overall health for the clients. (DCS) should be the first to provide assistance to home managers by alerting to clients needs be it medication, grocery needs, cleaning supplies or other items required to maintain the efficiency in the homes.

Home Manager - Is responsible for ensuring proper supplies are maintained at each house hold. Ensures that client needs are being met by direct care staff. The home manager will also fill shifts as needed. The home manager is also responsible for training new hires in the group home(s).

Human Resources - Performs duties such as interviewing, hiring, retention, and even termination in certain instances. Also responsible for complaints, conflict resolution amongst staff, and maintaining compliance for various agencies required to run our business.

Payroll Administration - The Ngozi Place program utilizes ADP Run & ADP Mobile Solutions to assist with maintaining accurate tracking of time - cards for each employee. Each employee is responsible for clocking in & out at the correct scheduled times. If you are having issues with clocking in and out, please contact Payroll Admin so they can assist you with correcting your time - card.

Case Management - Case management refers to the documentation side of client care. Files must contain up to date information to reflect services we have provided as company to your clients. These files are mandatory for accuracy.

Nursing (RN / LVN) - Nurses are responsible for monitoring the health of our clients through Client Assessments upon enrollment into our program. They delegate direct care staff, and other necessary staff members to pass medications. Ngozi Place assists our Nurses by maintaining accurate MARs, and calling them in timely manners to assist with medication refills.

THere are several other roles involved with keeping our company rolling efficiently. Please keep this in mind and be apart of the team and assist us so we can do our best for our clients! When our clients are healthy, we are operating at our highest levels which assists us with returning the love to our staff!

Payroll Information

 payroll is completed using the ADP RUN Payroll System, and tracked through the ADP MOBILE SOLUTIONS APP. You will need to download the app on to your phone to track your time.

Payroll is a team effort, we want to support you and reduce difficulties in getting you paid for your hard work and efforts.

Employees are required to use the ADP Mobile Solutions app to track their time - cards. It is the responsibility of the employee to alert Payroll Admin when they are having issues with clocking in and out.

The ngozi Website has been created to provide a digital layout of ngozi place’s practices and policies. in an effort to reduce our carbon foot print, we have created a database to store and maintain all of our files. While we are a transparent company, all information is reserved for the express use of sonya golden dba ngozi place. At no time should anything on this webpage be reproduced without express consent of the ngozi place administration. 

 Payment Schedules & Federal Holidays

Information is key to how we deliver our services and want you to know when payments are coming! Please note payday' is on monday. each pay period starts on a saturday, and ends 13 days later on sunday.

The following list is up to date and carries through January 15th, 2024. This list only includes Federal Holidays that we know affects our payroll dates. Please note we can only process payroll around Federal Holidays that affect ADP and our Banks to complete necessary transactions.

July 4th, 2022 will be paid on July 5th, 2022

October 10th, 2022 will be paid on October 11th, 2022

January 2nd, 2023 will be paid on January 3rd, 2023

January 16th, 2023 will be paid on January 17th, 2023

June 19th will be paid on June 20th, 2023

October 9th, 2023 will be paid on October 10th, 2023

January 1st will be paid on January 2nd, 2024

January 15th will be paid January 16, 2024
