Turn off the Lights!

Ngozi Place provides quality service to our clients, and properly working equipment is apart of our ability to do so. The state of Texas is under heat advisory. ERCOT, the state’s energy regulator recommends reducing electricity use to avoid extensive damages. All staff are required to turn off electrical equipment that is not in use.

All electronics including tv’s, radios, lights/fans, should be turned off before leaving the homes & dayhab center. Furthermore, thermostats should only be set on Auto (not On) and no lower 72 degrees. This keeps the a/c unit regulated and prevents damages that will destroy the unit itself. When the house/facility is empty, turn the thermostat up to 78 degrees. They should be set to 72 degrees when clients are in their home.
